Tesco Mobile
Your Second Most Important Network
We partnered with Tesco Mobile, BBH London, and Rascal to deliver motion graphics for their latest integrated campaign - “Your Second Most Important Network”.
A quietly confident idea at the heart of the work: mobile networks aren’t the most important thing in your life - people are.

The Idea
Rather than competing on specs, speed or coverage, the campaign flips the category on its head. It recognises a simple truth: the most important network is the one made up of the people you love – family, friends, community. Tesco Mobile positions itself as the enabler – the layer that keeps those real connections intact, without ever trying to replace them. It’s a rare move in telecoms: honest, self-aware, and all the more powerful for it.
The Film
At the centre of the campaign is a hero film built from intimate, everyday moments – the kind you don’t usually see dramatised. Parents checking in. Friends sharing small wins. Families navigating the rhythm of daily life. Shot with real people and grounded performances, the work leans into authenticity over polish – finding beauty in the ordinary. It’s observational, human, and emotionally precise.

Our Role
Native Strangers crafted the motion graphics language that threads through the campaign, working closely alongside Rascal who led post production. Our work needed to sit lightly within the world - never distracting from the performances, but subtly reinforcing the idea of connection.
Graphic systems designed to feel integrated, not imposed. Clean, confident typography that supports the narrative without shouting. A restrained approach - letting the human moments lead
The challenge wasn’t to make something flashy - it was to make something feel right. The work rolled out across TV, cinema, VOD, social, OOH and print – a cohesive system that scales from intimate storytelling to bold, simple outdoor executions.
