This project was a real blast, and we think the results show it.

When Tinker Taylor and Arco approached us for a dynamic, abstract, fully CGI TV commercial, we jumped right in. Drawing on our experience in the Digi-double space, we took care of every step - from 3D modeling/texturing the products and storyboarding to creating the animatic, rendering, and compositing.

Keep your eyes peeled: you’ll see this project not only in stores, on TV (and on VOD), but our 3D creations will also star in an OOH stills campaign.

spring update

What a start to the year we’ve had at Native Strangers! We’ve been diving into some amazing projects and have even taken on a challenge that really hits home. Our co-founder, Dan Booth, is running 5 marathons in 5 days to raise funds for clinical trials aimed at curing STXBP1 disorders - a rare genetic condition that his son, Charlie, was born with.

If you’re interested in learning more or want to lend your support, check out his JustGiving page.

And it’s not just about the marathons. We’ve had the pleasure of working on a mix of creative projects - from TV commercials to social-first content - each bringing its own unique challenges and rewards. We’re really proud of the work the team has produced and have put a selection of our favourites below.

It’s been a varied and fulfilling few months at Strangers Towers, and we’re excited to see what the rest of the year has in store.

Matchroom.

Matchroom is renowned for hosting the world’s best boxing events, so we were thrilled to collaborate with them on an animated promo for their Monte Carlo Showdown V. Airing on DAZN, the promo needed to capture the sophistication and history of Monaco while delivering the intensity synonymous with a world-class boxing event.

Native Strangers had an absolute blast teaming up with our friends at CHEW Productions on their second feature-length documentary made for RedBull, CSGO: The Final Years. A cult favorite among gaming fans worldwide.

Collaborating closely with CHEWS’s creative team, we crafted bespoke VFX shots and helped establish the analog-inspired aesthetic that defined this impressive documentary.

Blink!

How many cat jokes can we pack into a project description? Let’s paws for a moment and find out!

Working on Blink’s four social media videos was a challenging but rewarding project - one that left us feline pretty good about our work. Once the creative vision was nailed down by the incredibly talented Ben Oliver for Manifest, we pounced on the task of sourcing stock footage to help tell these quirky, cat-tivating stories. And speaking of cats, we needed a different feline star for each film. Some required cats doing very specific tricks - like staring intently as if they were plotting the next cat food heist, popping their heads up like they just heard the can opener, or leaping off a couch faster than a cat chasing a laser pointer.

After tracking down the purr-fect footage, we rotoscoped our kitty companions and placed them into a brand new 3D environments made entirely of 2D planes - a real catwalk for creativity!

Overall, it was a paws-itively fun and quick turnaround project that’s already hitting all the required KPIs. No cat-astrophes here - just a whole lot of feline finesse!

If you want to create similarly well performing social media content for your brand, meow’s the time, fur real!
